Lead the end-to-end network architecture and planning function for the Silklink telecom program. Own the target network blueprint, planning governance, design assurance, technical standards, and cross-domain alignment across fiber, transport, IP/MPLS, inventory, circuits, and asset management workstreams.
· Serve as the overall technical authority for network
architecture and planning across the Silklink program.
· Define and maintain the target network architecture,
planning principles, design standards, naming conventions, capacity rules, and
technology roadmaps.
· Lead integration across fundamental planning, fiber,
DWDM, IP/MPLS, inventory, circuit, and asset domains to ensure consistent and
implementation-ready outputs.
· Review and approve high-level designs, low-level
design inputs, network plans, migration strategies, and implementation
constraints.
· Translate business, service, SLA, availability,
resilience, capacity, and regulatory requirements into scalable network
architecture decisions.
· Establish design governance, decision logs,
architecture review boards, technical risk registers, and quality gates for
planning deliverables.
· Coordinate with operations, field teams, vendors,
data/reporting teams, and customer stakeholders to resolve planning
dependencies and blockers.
· Ensure network plans are reconciled with physical
inventory, circuit records, asset information, and implementation evidence.
· Monitor plan quality, change impact, capacity
utilization, resilience compliance, and delivery progress against program
milestones.
- Provide
technical leadership, mentoring, and escalation support for planners and
SMEs across the project.
